I am using automation to add text and a table to the description field with every new ticket created. I used this link to format my table: https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/WikiRendererHelpAction.jspa?section=tables
However, when I run this rule, the table does not render. I am seeing the bar's (pipes) with the words only.

Make sure there are no spaces at the start or end of your table separators (|| or |). Also, verify that each row has the same number of separators. In your example, you have two columns in the header row but three columns in the data row. This mismatch can cause the table not to render correctly.

The plot thickens. When I use the CTA Create button, it doesn't work (you just see the pipes etc). But if I click the plus icon on the back log section, it does work (you see the table layout).
