Search issue with History - author or particular string using basic filter or jql

Hi,

I'm looking for searching the issues based on the history log (comment by specific user specially any comments through automation - author would be 'automation by jira') and specific string given in automation).

Can a filter be created with basic search criterion or using JQL?

Sorry if I misunderstood your question, but have you tried to search through JQL like in the example:

text ~ "Jira Software"

I'm not a JQL expert, so I mostly do history searches with Issue History for Jira app. Here you can filter issues by assignees, projects, sprints, dates, etc.
