We would like to track Hard/Soft Savings for our projects. Any suggestions on apps that can achieve this?

Would you elaborate the meaning of soft/hard savings? If you are looking for the Atlassian apps, then this is the place to enter your search word to find an app of your requirements.
So we are a lean manufacturing company and for things such as parts no longer being used for a project we want to track that as a hard savings. Does this may sense? Or if we adjust our process to save re-work time, we capture that as soft savings.
