Can we set any automation for EPICS to be marked as DONE once all TASKS are DONE?

Hi @Amitava Mallick

You should be able to do this with automation rules.

Create a rule that triggers when a task is done.
add a new condition - issue fields condition
set field to "issue type"
set condition to "equals"
select the different issuetypes that are allowed to set the epic to done.
add a new branch - Branch rule /related issues
set the type to Epic (parent)
add a new condition - related issues condition
set "related issues" to "Stories (or other issues in this epic)"
set condition to "All match specified JQL"
set matching JQL to "status = done"
Add an action that transitions the parent to done

It seems it is failing in the transition itself.

Can you transition the issue from the current status to done if you do it manually?

Do you have any validators and/or conditions set on this transition?
