Unable to assign issue types to Jira projects as they are not returned in the drop-down

Hi,

I am trying to assign a project to an issue type, but I don't see my project available there.

I don't think you can assign a whole project to one issue type. You can remove issue types so they're not available if that would help?

Could you provide a screenshot of what you're looking at please so we can provide further help if needed.

I need to assign test issue type to my project, but I don't see my project here.

If you go into your Project, then into Issue Types you should be able to assign the issue type from there
