Summit this year has gone remote, but it doesn't mean we can't have a badge challenge! You can earn this badge through the end of April by participating in some or all of the below tasks.
This year you have to complete at least three of the tasks; if you're a Community Leader, you have to complete at least five.
Tasks will be posted in the Summit collection with the tag summit-badge-challenge-2020 and also listed below. There will be a leaderboard, with special prizes for those who complete the most tasks!
Keep watching this post, as it will be updated as tasks get added:
My count when I went to bed last night was 8. Minus the bingo one, I should be at 7, but you are showing 4. Can you help me understand what I need to do differently to make sure you're seeing what I am seeing?
@summer.hogan so far I have you for secret password and participating in a discussion. but link to the ones I'm missing and I'll update your score!
@Jeff Tillett I have you down for start a discussion, participate in a discussion, secret password, discuss day two. lmk what I'm missing!
Ty for the insight @Monique vdB .
I went ahead and added Friday fun in there too, so I'm actually at 9 now.
Can you let me know if I've done any of this wrong?
@Monique vdB here you go. Here's the other stuff you have done:

@Jeff Tillett looks like @Bridget hasn't given you the Embrace Remote badge yet so I missed that one! Will catch up on the rest this afternoon once my presentations are done! 🙌🏻
Just finished my OpsGenie badge too, so other than welcome center, I think I've got em all!
Hi @Monique vdB here you go.
Here are my posts so far:
Hello @Monique vdB ,
I think I've got three of them
If anything else is needed, let me know.
Adam
Hey @Monique vdB
I do believe that I have participated and started in a Summit discussion. Also participated on miscellaneous Monday thread, played remote bingo, gave the secret password and just wrote an article on embracing remote
What's the score? :P
Current scores (only those who have 2 or more points otherwise this would get insane) and 🤩 means they got the badge!

@Monique vdB Would the badge reflect at a later time, mine doesn't reflect yet
I got 3 so far...
My secret password was not accepted
@Poorvi Jhawar and @Alexander Pappert you are both on the list! I'm encountering a bug with this badge that I've never seen before! Working on it.
May I ask how @Jodi LeBlanc managed to get a score of 14 with only 12 tasks listed? I'd like to get in on the super secret, cool kids only tasks if there is more I could be doing.
@Jeff Tillett I meant to go back and check that because I was like "Are there even 14 tasks??" Her score must be 12 then.
So we can earn the welcome one even if we're not new?
@Jeff Tillett if you've never introduced yourself in the Welcome Center, feel free to go ahead!
I did that last year during the badge bar at Summit, which was why I didn't think I could do that one again.
@Monique vdBA lot of manual work but Scavanger Hunt is always a nice idea! I think I got 5 "hunts" already Hoping also to see the Remote work badge jumping in
Hi @Monique vdB ,
Thank you! Received my summit community challenge badge, but I found that I had lost the monthly challenges badge for several months.
@Ollie Guan you are eagle-eyed! For various reasons we need to retire the monthly badges. A few have disappeared already but I'll do a post when we retire the rest. Some will have replacements coming out (or have already been replaced), and there will be a commemorative badge for collectors.
@Monique vdB I am a little late on this but I completed the following:
Hi @Monique vdB I am late here but I have completed my tasks for this badge
@Monique vdB - I posted back in April 24 that everything had been completed but never got the badge can you check and see why.
@Brant Schroeder there seems to be some kind of bug; I assigned it to you but you haven't gotten it. I'll look into this!
Hi @Monique vdB ! I've completed the highlighted items from the list. Is it too late to get the badge?
Hi friends! We've had some users complete the challenge and not get awarded the badge. After looking into this on the back end, the solution is going to be to turn the badge off and back on again. Isn't that always the way?
Apologies in advance to anyone getting notified a second time about this badge, but @LarryBrock @Brant Schroeder and @Mirek this should fix the issue for you three!
Y
This is cool ... Challenge accepted ! 💪
