I'm trying to put together a quality dashboard and want to track the defect arrival/resolution during a time period. The Created vs Resolved gadget is great, just don't want to see epics, stories and so on.

Provide a filter for the gadget, which excludes epics, stories and so on.

That worked great. I had seen the filter option, however I was concerned with how the gadget would handle dates and so just chose the project option. I was able to add a filter that covered multiple projects and a single release (custom field). I'm just going to finish working through some of the data to ensure our custom fields and process are working appropriately.
