Could not edit/post global templates on confluence

Question

I am encountering a problem when creating/editing global templates on confluence.

for some reason after saving a new templates, it would not appear on list of global templates.

and on another case the template are published, however when I attempt to edit it, the changed content would not be reflected on the templates

currently I am using Confluence 1000.0.0-757578ebeac - cloud version and have privilege as site admin

Hi @Kiran Panduga {Appfire},

After trial & error and analyzing the template content I found out that some part of the content in templates (Tables with pictures) generates error which caused the template fail to load to global templates or even make changes to the edited content.

So I decided to scrap along the faulty part that I want to put in templates and use similar workaround.

I still dont know what cause that though, but it is already solved

Hi @Ryan Triwardhana,

In General, the Confluence Cloud has the option to edit/create new templates and it works well. However, as this is not with permissions, let me ask you few follow up questions,

* Is this issue with all the Global templates or specify template ?
* Recently added third party plugins ? Sometimes, third party plugins are known cause for this issue.
* Any particular error message while editing the templates ?
* what level of Permission granted to the user ?
* Look and feel specific customization, in place ?

I don't think that would be the problem, since sometimes the template are successfully posted

editing also enabled, but no changes are reflected
