Using the "/confluence search <text>" command, pages that are restricted from "everyone" viewing or editing are still visible.
Can I get confluence search in slack to only show results that are viewable to "Everyone"?
Hello there Emily! It seems that you are using Obie, is that correct? If this is the case, it is expected that those results are given to the user. However, it is stated that:
If I connect an integration, like Google Drive, does everyone on my team have access to all the files? The Obie.ai team has taken great care to ensure that users are unable to escalate their permissions on the dashboard, or any third-party platform, by interacting with Obie. He may bring back search results that not everyone on your team can access, but the third-party will verify whether that person has access to the document beyond the title. The third party will often prompt to "request access to the document" if the user does not have permission. You can learn more about how we ensure the security of your data while in our care here.

1. No, I'm using the Confluence Cloud app.
2. Through the Slack app directory
3. I don't know
Can anyone at Atlassian help me with this?
It's a year late, but Obie is one of the few apps (if not the only app) that lets you provision spaces to certain channels. So for example, the #marketing channel can only search the Marketing space in confluence, not the Developers space.
