How do I go back to the old style for navigating between Backlog and Kanban

Question

My coworker has the interface with icons pinned to the left (something I just got used to since the last JIRA UI update, see first image). Now I have this new flyout menu thing (see second image). How do I revert back to the old UI and get off JIRA's wild ride of changing their users workflow every few weeks?

You can't go back I'm afraid.

To get off the roundabout, you'll have to migrate to a server installation.
