Audit logs not available before Aug 18, 2018

Hi,
this summer I could download audit logs since 2016. When trying to download the full audit log today, I can only get logs back to Aug 18 this year. According to the docs, you will keep it for three years at least. So why can't I get the full logs?

I see now it was set to three months! How can be this be, we have not changed this?!?! And the longest time span I can select is only six months?!

What is the version of Confluence you are using and what is the option you have selected for "Keep events for" in the Audit Log Settings?
