Showing slack users status in Confluence

I was trying to find the answer to the for quite some time, but no success so far. Slack API allows to query user status (on-line/away) using http query. It comes back with JSON response.

Is there a way to incorporate the JSO response into Wiki page in Confluence other than JSON table macro?

I would like to have an option what actually is displayed.

The ides behind is to see who from the team X is available on-line at given time when other team is following escalation procedure written in Wiki.

Any ideas?

What you described seems like a good use-case for creating a new User Macro. While it is a little more involved than using an existing table macro, you should be able to add javascript to fire the XHR requests to slack, as well as render the online-status as you wish to.
