Did project role change in next-gen projects?

Hi, 

 

I noticed that I'm able choose Administrator/Member/Viewer role when I'm adding people in a next-gen project. But no my customization project roles show up in the list. 

 

So just wondering did project role management change in next-gen projects?

 

Frankly I think default Administrator/Member/Viewer role is simple, easy for management and enough for most of projects. However does it mean we will lost customization capability on project roles comparing with classic projects?

Hello,

Next-gen projects are supposed to be easy to configure without reading lots of documentation about Jira. That is why I think we will have only these three roles in this project otherwise these projects will become difficult to configure.
