This answer https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/How-to-get-a-Closed-On-Date-for-Jira-Advanced-Search/qaq-p/20388
proposes using a JQL string
... AND status = Closed AND status changed to Closed after startOfMonth() before endOfMonth()
Surprisingly it works in my JIRA 7.6, but why? What are the before/after keywords? There is no such reference in https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver076/advanced-searching-941595912.html
Hello,
You can find an answer in this documentation for Cloud:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracorecloud/advanced-searching-operators-reference-765593718.html#Advancedsearching-operatorsreference-CHANGEDCHANGED
or here for Server:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver/advanced-searching-operators-reference-939938745.html#Advancedsearching-operatorsreference-CHANGEDCHANGED
Those keywords were available for a long time.
Thanks Alexey. Do you plan to update the conflicting documentation?
It is not conflicting. You should click on the "Advanced searching - operators reference" reference on the page you provided:
Hi Alexey, the page I landed on from google is called Advanced Searching. It has a Reference section, with an Operators row, with a "list of operators". But this list of operators is actually not a list of all the Operators.
If you don't like the term conflicting we can call it misleading.
