How can I have my rapidboard automatically focus to current user?

We do our sprints using the "Rapid board" feature

Links look like this:

https://jira.xxxxx.com/secure/RapidBoard.jspa?rapidView=83&quickFilter=300

This link gets me to my team's board.

But How do I get a link that will focus to me (current user)?

Right now I have to scroll through a dozen users to get to me and it's annoying.

I would recommend creating a quick filter on the board.

Select "Board" at top right/ configure/ quick filters/ add
JQl should be "assignee = currentUser()"

No permission to do such a thing. I'm left with the default filters.

OK they added it for me (i'm shocked) but now it aint showing everyone else's tickets anymore. just mine.

i just wanted it to focus to me.
