I would like to let anonymous users subscribe to a public space by email.
Watch is only for logged in users. Is there another way to do that?
Thanks!
Thierry,
Watching spaces, pages, blogs, etc. in Confluence is tied to a Confluence account. If a users is viewing a space anonymously there is no way for them to watch the space without having an account and logging in first.
By definition, you cannot do it.
You do not know who an anonymous user is. If you did, they would not be anonymous. As you don't know who they are, you can't contact them.
Nic, you are so right!
Thanks Nic! I was hoping they could enter their email address to subscribe without logging in.
That would be a security nightmare! Imagine the spam!
