Created v/s resolved Chart

I'm using the created v/s resolved daily chart, is it possible to change the chart to use a different custom date field for keying on the created date? my Stories have a seperate reported date field that I want to use

This functionality is not available natively on JIRA, however, the plugin eazyBI Reports and Charts for Jira Cloud can provide you this kind of Chart.
