From my experience with jira, is that you can add a ticket from any Project into any sprint. However, when you accidentally add tickets to a sprint that was apart of a different Project, that sprint is now visible in your backlog. Knowing that I want nothing to do with this now "empty" sprint, how do i remove it from my backlog without deleting it?
This would be scenario:
- Project A and Project B
- Project A has Sprint A1, Sprint A2
- Project B has Sprint B1
- Both Projects have their respective sprints showing up in their Backlog
- Project B creates a ticket and inadvertently adds the ticket to Sprint A1
- The ticket is then immediately changed to be in Sprint B1
- After this, Project B now has Sprint B1 and Sprint A1 in its Backlog even though Sprint A1 is empty with respect to Project B
How would one remove Sprint A1 from Project B's Backlog WITHOUT deleting the sprint since Sprint A1 is still used in Project A?
