How do I export my product backlog, retaining the prioritized order?

Question

I prioritize the stories in the backlog by drag-and-drop.

When I search, or just select and export, the list is sorted by story number (key). This export is not what I need.

Is there a field that stores the placement (priority) of the stories, that I can use to order a filtered search for export?

Claire, this is the way I do it:

* Go to JIRA Issue Search (get out of the Agile view)
* Do an advanced Search using the same filter that your product backlog would adhere to. In my case, it's something like this:  project = "Project Name" and Sprint is empty and status !=Closed ORDER BY rank
