Currently my company is using Jira software on server, version 6.4.13, database type MySQL, version 5.1.69, with Confluence, version 5.5.3.
We are now looking at the possibility of move to cloud. And it seems most of the users, if not all, will switch to Jira core.
After some research, we need to do the following things:
- use a staging Jira server to use PostgreSQL
- upgrade JIRA to latest version
- move from jira software to jira core
- backup jira
- uploading jira to cloud
- migrate from confluence server to cloud
So my question is, is there are correct order to do these things? When do the jira upgrade, can I go to 7.0, and then 7.8?
