Newly created user cannot log in too many redirects

Newly created user cannot log in too many redirects. I even changed the rights to be an admin (and yes I included the base right to log in) and every time they login the browser errors out with the error "Too Many Redirects"

This also occurs when reactivating a user that was previously working but left our company and were deactivated.

HI Jason,

According to Atlassian's Troubleshooting Apache page, it's probably because Apache and Tomcat are both redirecting when only one should be. That page has guidance to solve the problem.

I got same situation.

that's happening to only newly created user account.

it was same when i use 'log-in-as-user' feature as admin.

And i'm using cloud service not server. so Rob's link(troubleshooting apache page) is not for me.

maybe they should do something.

If you can't change the Apache/Tomcat configuration, you should create a support ticket and ask Atlassian to do it.

This was an issue with the cloud service, not a local install. the issue resolved itself the next day for the accounts.

Exactly same situation here with Confluence, very weak Atlassian! Not able to open a ticket, as a "Support Entitlement Number" is required! According to the page https://confluence.atlassian.com/support/how-to-find-your-support-entitlement-number-sen-229840018.html it's available under "Administration" / "System information". But there isn't any "System information" menu point. Great, thanks for the 3 hours lost today. If anyone at Atlassian is reading, please fix your stuff and provide a decent product. This is poor, poor, poor.

It could be because the access rights weren't grated to this user. This can be checked in the admin page.
