Looking for a way to do nested groups in JIRA Cloud. The last question I saw (and the answer was no) was from Jan 2015. I'm hoping a couple years of thought and development might have made this possible.
No Change. JIRA itself doesn't support them either - there's just a tweak in the directory stuff that flattens them out when they're used in external directories.
Is there a supported plugin that will allow this?
No, because you can't do it in an add-on. The group and user handling is part of the core functions.
