Jira custom field and resolution

Hello, lately JIRA is driving me crazy; we created one extra step, namely "Live" which is an ending step. The transition from Done to Live has a post function: The Resolution of the issue will be set to Done. That marks the issue as done and when closing sprint everything is fine. The problem arises when we have some tasks as Done, these issues are not marked as done they are somehow incomplete even if it is written "Resolution:Done" thus resulting to move issues in backlog when closing sprints. How this can be fixed? The transition from previous step has also a similar post function. Same behaviour is noticed when the transition from previous step has resolution screen (any resolution->same).

I'm unclear on what the problem is here - you appear to be setting a resolution (meaning "this issue is done with") at the right point in the workflow.

The bit where I'm stuck is "The problem arises when we have some tasks as Done, these issues are not marked as done they are somehow incomplete". What, here, is "some tasks as Done"? How are they done, but not marked as done?

This task has status Done, resolution Done and thus I would expect to be removed from backlog. This doesn't happen, and in the end of the day this is what i want to achieve. Both "Done" and "Live" status to mark an issue "i am over with it, let's get something new to do"

Ok, what is the board filter for the backlog?

Even if that was a visibility/filtering issue, i still can't complete sprint without been warned that all these tasks would be moved to next spring or on top of backlog. Nonetheless the backlog columns look like this:

That screenshot is great, it answers it in one go. Your "Done" column is not the last column in the board and is showing as the yellow "in progress". So the stuff in there is not "done"
