Restricting access to an area of a page

Hello,

I'm almost certain that I can't do this in Confluence Cloud, but I'm almost certain that other people have also wanted to do this.

I want to hide an area of a page from users who aren't logged in. Seemingly not a difficult thing at all—but seems impossible in the Cloud version. Has anyone got any suggestions? I am not keen to have two versions of the same page; one with the hidden info and one public—if I need to make a change to the common information, I'll have to do it in both pages!

Thanks William—that works, however it leaves a horrible error message to tell the user that something's missing. Then we'll have people asking what's wrong with the docs! Any other ideas?

hey Helen,

You could use the Include page macro to a private page, that way everyone that access the public one, we'll be able to see the page normally, but what you have inside the macro, they'll not able to see
