I need to change the projects keys for Jira. I did this before in the past, and all the queries stopped working I had to update all of them. Is it possible to change without impacting the configuration of the whole system?
This issue about old keys in filters is supposedly fixed. Read the section Notes for changed management.

I would still have people update their filters though.
