Need to import data and setup a Customer Support Portal. We have data from an existing Jira instance that we will need to import. We need to setup a Customer Support Portal prior to May 1st and need some time to design and create a working process.

Can we setup and create a portal (project) before importing the legacy data?

Hi Peter,

THis all depends on how you are importing the data, and waht format the data is in. As long as you are not doing full JIRA site imports, this should work. Full site exports will overwrite everything including users, groups, issues, etc. Our Import guide should have more info:
