How to identify which Jira automation rule is consuming Rovo credits?

Hi,

I can see some Rovo credit consumption in Jira Automation usage statistics, but I’m unable to identify which automation rule is responsible. I’ve already checked “Use Agent” and “Use Rovo”, but no automation rules are listed there. Is there a way to trace the Rovo credit usage back to a specific automation rule?

Org Admin level doesn't have much use to help with this - however -

You need to be a Jira Admin to see this.

Go to the Jira-Admin Control panel via the Gear icon next to your profile in your Jira Instance/Site - top right corner.

Upcoming Usage Model

You will see the current months readout of usage/meters - you will note there's a Rovo Credits column - this will have a read on any rules with a Rovo Action/Step.

You will find your answers there.

Note you can sort the columns.

Thanks. This is actually the exact view I was referring to. I can see Rovo credit consumption in Upcoming Usage Model, but none of the individual automation rules show Rovo credit usage.

I also checked Use Agent and Use Rovo, but no rules are listed. How can I trace the reported Rovo credit consumption to the rule or activity that generated it?

Unless something is broken - this means no automations are consuming Rovo Credits.

Only other thought that comes to mind is if you have more than one "site" - check the other sites.

Rovo Agent use
Rovo "Automation" Steps in Jira Automation

You can also check Atlassian Administration → Insights → Platform usage → Rovo credits → Export data.

The CSV shows credit usage with timestamps, which you can compare with your Automation audit logs to help narrow down which rules may be responsible. It won't identify the rule directly, but it can point you in the right direction. If the numbers still don't match, Atlassian Support can take a closer look.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! I found it under Usage → Meters → Rovo credits, where the export option is available as well. It seems the navigation in my Atlassian Administration is slightly different.

The CSV is definitely useful, but I still don't seem to be able to distinguish which queries were triggered by Jira Automation and, consequently, link the Rovo credit consumption back to a specific automation rule. Any suggestions on how to identify the corresponding automation rule?
