Jira Data Center not supported on Confluence

There is a space where my team generates release notes. We always configured tables using /jiradatacenter…. I see that it is no longer supported. I have attempted to use /jiraworkitems but when exporting to PDF, the output looks like the second picture pasted. Something changed in our Confluence pages midweek which was extremely inconvenient as the release notes always need regenerated and exported to PDF the day before the release (tomorrow). How do you suggest getting /jiraworkitems to effectively export to PDF format with all information necessary.

You could try the below troubleshooting steps for immediate use keeping the timeline in mind:

1. You can use browser's Print —> save as PDF
   1. Open the published Confluence release notes page in a browser like Chrome.
   2. Wait a few seconds for all Jira work items, statuses, and tables to fully load on the screen.
   3. Press Ctrl + P (Windows) or Cmd + P (Mac).
   4. Set the destination to Save as PDF.
   5. Adjust print settings:
      • Layout —> Set to Landscape
      • More settings —> Scale —> Set to Fit to printable area or Custom (e.g., 80–90%) if columns are wide.
      • Options —> Ensure Background graphics is checked so status lozenges and table headers render cleanly.
      • Margins: Set to Minimum or Default.
2. Use as a static table in Jira
   1. In Jira, run your JQL filter (e.g., fixVersion = "X.Y.Z").
   2. Switch to List View and configure the desired columns.
   3. Click Export —> Export Excel CSV or copy the table rows directly from Jira.
   4. Paste the rows into a native Confluence table on the release notes page.
   5. Export to PDF - native Confluence tables export cleanly without any macro rendering dependencies.
3. If you must use Confluence's built in "Export to PDF", please check for the following:
   1. Table View vs. List/Smart Link Mode:
      1. Edit the page and click the Jira macro.
      2. Ensure it is set to Table under Display Options (not List or Single Issue/Card).
   2. Trim columns to avoid truncation (Refer this ticket for more details with teh same issue https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-75424):
      • Confluence Cloud’s PDF engine truncates or breaks tables with more than 5–6 columns or wide multi-line text fields (such as Description or Comments).
      • Limit the displayed columns to essential release fields: Key, Summary, Issue Type, Status, and Fix Version.
   3. Remove/ Adjust Table of Contents (TOC) macro (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-74069):
      • If the page includes a Table of Contents macro with the Printable setting checked, Jira macros can get stuck rendering as "Getting issue details..." in PDF exports. Uncheck Printable in the TOC macro settings or temporarily remove the TOC macro.
   4. Column field name casing:
      • In static PDF rendering, custom field names configured in mixed case sometimes export blank. Changing custom field identifiers in the macro column settings to lowercase can allow static renderers to pick them up.
