Confluence still doesn’t show a word or character count on a page, so people end up pasting content into random web counters — not ideal for anything confidential.
I built a free Forge app that puts live word count, character count, and reading time in the page byline (always visible, no click). Tap the byline for a fuller breakdown, including per-heading sections and a toggle to exclude macros/embeds.
Stores nothing, sends nothing — two read-only scopes, runs on Atlassian.

Curious how others handle word count / reading time for docs and translation workflows.
