Environment:
- Jira Cloud
- Team-Managed Project
- Multiple users affected
- Reproducible across browsers
Issue:
Since a recent Jira Cloud update, the search field within the Team-Managed Board no longer finds issues based on text contained in the issue Summary (title).
Expected behavior:
Searching for a word that exists in the issue Summary should return the matching issue card on the board.
Actual behavior:
The issue is not returned when searching for text from the Summary, although the issue is visible on the board and can be found using the global Jira search.
Example:
Issue Key: PRJ-6188
Summary: P 81431 - IB im Haus Vygon
Board Search Results:
- Search for "6188" → Issue found
- Search for "PRJ-6188" → Issue found
- Search for "P 81431" → No result
- Search for "P 81431 - IB im Haus Vygon" → No result
Additional Information:
- The issue is visible on the board.
- Global Jira search successfully finds the issue using "P 81431" or "P 81431 - IB im Haus Vygon".
- Therefore the Jira search index appears to be working correctly.
- The problem seems to be isolated to the Team-Managed Board search functionality.
Please verify whether this is an intended change or a defect in the current Team-Managed Board search implementation.
