Question

Hello,

Whlie I had no issues accessing that confluence on my previous laptop(through my company account), now I'm unable to login with a message like 'Max challenge attempts exceeded. Please refresh the page to try again!'.

I've cleared my browser's cookies and data and used Chrome and Edge, but it still failed.

(Due to company internal policy, the incognito mode is not available.)

My company IT support team suspects that my new IP or MAC addr may be blocked by your system's security settings. (If you need info about my IP/MAC addr, please let me know.)

Could you please help me to login the ORAN alliance confluence successfully?

I relate to @Trudy P Claspill  answer.

To add a technical detail the "Max challenge attempts exceeded" error is tied to an AWS WAF browser challenge.

Atlassian Cloud requires access to *.awswaf.com for browser verification, so local network or security settings on the new laptop are likely blocking those endpoints.

You can also rule out MAC address filtering, as remote Atlassian Cloud services do not receive local MAC addresses.

Check which URL displays the error (id.atlassian.com versus oranalliance.atlassian.net) and test the laptop on a mobile hotspot without the corporate VPN. If it connects successfully, ask your IT team to review corporate proxy, firewall, and HTTPS inspection rules for *.awswaf.com subdomains.

If the error follows your account across independent devices and networks, try using O-RAN ALLIANCE's public Contact Us page to locate an administrator who can open an Atlassian Support ticket with a HAR log attached.

I already tried to contact the corresponding site manager, but I couldn't because the site has completely blocked my access. I might be able to find the team's contact information if I could enter the site.

At the same time, I am looking for other ways to resolve this issue.

We are users of the Atlassian products, like you.

We don't have access to the site you mentioned and we are not administrators for it.

You will need to contact the owners/tech support team for that site. They may have set up IP blocking/whitelisting that is specific to their site. If you are unsure who to contact, start with the people that told you to access that site.
