Can we create separate board for phase2 which is completely isolated from phase1 in the same space?

Question

Board has been created on same space, so it shows data for Phase 1 as well as for Phase 2. Using Labels and filters, we are able to segregate the data, however Customer thinks that we have not setup the board properly and trying to fix board as per feedback. In summary, Customer wants a separate Jira board for phase 2 which is completely isolated from phase 1. Can someone guide me here its an urgent base request to the community. Thanks

Hi @deepan_kumar Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

The important thing to remember is that a Board is always based on a Filter (see Board Filter in the Board Settings).

* Yes, you can create multiple boards within the same Company-Managed Software Space
* Yes, you can create a totally separate board (just create a new board) based on a filter that excludes work items from the first board (for example based on Labels or the option/value of another field)

If it a company managed project, you can create different boards with different scope of issues (defined by the board filter).

If it is a team managed project, unfortunately only 1 board is possible
