New to Forge development, looking for beginner-friendly app ideas to build and learn from

Said Bennaceur

Hi everyone, I'm fairly new to building Forge apps and I've already built a few small ones to learn, like a kudos wall and a help board for sharing blockers. Now I'm looking for my next project.

I'd love your suggestions for app ideas that are:
Beginner to intermediate friendly, so I can actually finish them
Genuinely useful for real teams, not just demos
A good way to learn newer Atlassian technology like Rovo or the Teamwork Graph

I'm especially interested in ideas that solve a real everyday problem in Jira or Confluence. If you've built something you love, or wished existed, I'd really appreciate hearing about it.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Hi @Said Bennaceur , welcome to the Atlassian Community!

A great way to start is by going through some of the existing tutorials, and then expanding on those examples with your own ideas to test things out.

I also highly recommend exploring the Developer Community - it’s a fantastic source of inspiration! You can dive in right here: https://community.developer.atlassian.com/c/forge/forge-freshman/124
