what is the best way to manage API tokens? How can I know when the token expires so I can generate new one?

You are managing your API tokens through your Security page of your profile. You can see when the token expires and you will also get an email a week before your token will expire.

Welcome to the community, you wil et mail on expiring tokens, but is't also best to have documentation on when this expires and where the token is used.
my intention is to manage the tokens for service users. means the mails of these users are not monitored.

Also as service accounts have a mail address, but you can't see mails sent there in any way.
But still you would need to have documentd wheere a token was used.
