Hi everyone,
I’m trying to understand how people handle automation cleanup once a Jira instance has been around for a while.
The hard part doesn’t seem to be creating new rules. It’s figuring out:
- what rules still matter
- who owns them
- where duplicate or overlapping rules exist
- what is actually safe to disable or remove
If you admin Jira in a larger or older setup, I’d really value a reality check:
1. How do you review old automation rules?
2. What is the hardest part: visibility, ownership, duplicate logic, or cleanup confidence?
3. Do the native tools give you enough signal, or is this still mostly manual?
