Trying to display any filter brings up an error "something went wrong on our end"

This has suddenly started happening in my Jira Free cloud instance. It happens whenever I attempt to display a saved filter. If I attempt to create a new filter I would not be able to load existing labels to populate that filter.

This stops me from working and I am not sure how to fix it, what can I do ?

As a user community populated mostly by users of the products, we don't have access to your system nor the Atlassian back end to directly investigate the problem with the codes shown in the message.

And since you are on a Free subscription you will not be able to open a support case through the technical support portal.

However, as a Community Champion I can flag you post here to raise it to the attention of Atlassian Team Members. I have done that, and they should get back to you within 2 business days.

I returned after a few hours and it seemed to have cleared up. I would still very much like to know how to prevent this in future if that is possible, however
