How to add a simple section with the new Confluence?

Question

Amazing.  Since we have the new version, I can't find anything I had before.  I am trying to modify my model by adding a new section.  Nothing under the page payout to add a section.  When I click on it, all it shows are column formatting.

Can you please tell me how to add a simple section?

You can create a single column section with Layouts but I guess you're missing a visible boundary...

For some reason, layouts don't appear to be able to show borders...

There's a page Divider macro which you could use above the Layout section.

Or, as as a workaround, you can use a note macro and simply change settigs - light background color, remove the icon... the look is somewhat close to what I remember from my server days. You can select white background but then you lose the boundary.

Use the layout option from the toolbar of via the macro (/) option.
