Do you have a recommendation on any apps that can integrate JSM and Workday?

I'm looking for a way to integrate JSM and Workday so that when a new hire is entered into Workday, it creates 1 or more JSM tickets for the IT work that needs to be completed. Are there any apps or automations that can be utilized for this functionality?

Yes, there is currently a native integration between Jira Service Management Cloud and Workday via Automation. This is specifically designed for the use case: "New hire in Workday → Create 1+ tickets in JSM."

If you'd like more configuration options for Workday integration (Business Process Events, Custom Reports and filter conditions with mapping), you can consider trying out OnRamp.

You can also use OnLink to import Workday employee data into Assets. You can then have Jira Automation rules on asset entries/updates to create JSM tickets.
