How can I avoid having to re-authenticate when using multiple Claude clients simultaneously?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using this MCP for a while, but every time I start a new Claude client, I have to re-authenticate. This causes my original Claude client to lose its connection to the MCP server. Is there a way to avoid this problem?

Please let me know how to resolve it—simply adding more connections for this MCP doesn’t seem like a proper solution.

I think for Claude sees this as a new session, I don't think this is related to MCP.

You might need to verify this with Claude

i mean it losing connect in the same session for a while through https transport. is there any solution to solve this problem?

Hi @DustinLiu

I think as this is session based just as using an API endpoint, you need to authenticate in each call, as it starts a session where authentication is required.

The existing session is not aware of an existing running session.

How would the Claude side know that it's the same user making the request?
