We use Confluence a lot, it's great. But now we're having problems with pages containing .tiff images. They're not displaying. If they appear briefly, they disappear immediately.Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there a solution?v
Hi @Uhl, Kevin-Daniel
What Confluence can do with TIFF
Known limitations
It is looking like that: The attachment looks like this: This was no problem so far. Do you need more infromation?Do you have a solution for that?
Hey!
I’ve run into the same issue as well. Unfortunately, this isn’t a bug but a current limitation of Confluence, TIFF images aren’t supported for preview.
We also frequently need to share images in Confluence, so I hope Atlassian adds native TIFF preview support in the future. For now, converting TIFF files to PNG, JPG, or PDF is the only reliable workaround.
@Uhl, Kevin-Daniel if you need a way to find, download or even delete .tiff files given they do not show as hoped then you might find our app Attachment Manager useful.
WebP files have similar limitations.
