Problem to manage group and users

Question

Hi

I had issue on management session for jira/confluence users and group.

Our company use google workspace and connected google accound as "

All users from G Suite".

Problem is when I try to delete some of users connected with "All users from G Suite", It is blocked due to atlassian error"
And also, I couldn't delete "All users from G Suite" group also.

Please let me know proper way to handle this problem.

"Sync disabled" often is not enough if the users and groups were provisioned through SCIM originally. If Atlassian still treats them as SCIM-managed, manual removal stays blocked until you handle it at the identity-provider side or fully break the provisioning relationship.

Before doing that, I would check which product-access groups are still making the account billable, because removing the wrong thing in the wrong system can create a messy re-sync later.

Hi @한상훈

Sync disabled isn't enough, you would need to remove the integration.

Or remove the user from Google.

Why do you need to remove the user, you culd also remove any access to JIra for this user?

I already change IDP as "sync disabled" but group edit menu is locked.
In the meantime, When I try to delete users, below error message occur.

Unable to remove user
This user is managed by SCIM and cannot be removed manually. Contact your identity provider administrator to remove SCIM managed users

Do I need to disconnect account on IDP set-up temporarily? If yes, Is there no side effect other users?
