Unable to cancel/uninstall 3rd party apps on Jira

Question

Hi guys,

I'm trying to remove unsubscribe/uninstall some 3rd party applications, before the end of the year so that I can make appropriate migration and configurations, but I was unable to do it. It keeps telling me to raise a Jira ticket and I did one but no response from Atlassian. I escalated the ticket and the status changed from "Atlassian investigating" to "New". Please who knows what this means?

Good day! Welcome to Atlassian Community :)

You would need to first cancel the subscription of these apps, and once apps are cancelled ( it gets cancelled after your current billing cycle ) and once its cancelled/deactivated, you can then uninstall them.

Steps to cancel:

* Click settings → Marketplace apps

* Click Take me there

* Locate the app you want to uninstall and click View app details and Unsubscribe

Post this, after your billing cycle, you will get an option to uninstall the app in the same location.

Hi @Ismail Sanni,

How are you trying to uninstall these 3rd party applications? From the above screenshot, it looks as if you - hopefully by accident - have tried to cancel your entire subscription?

It would help us diagnose if you could list the exact steps you followed to try and deactivate the app.
