Question is simple - how to get version of confluence, whether am using Cloud or other than Cloud.
Hi @Chandrasekhar KC ,
Confluence Cloud should always be under the "latest" version. For Confluence Data Center, follow the steps mentioned in the article below from Confluence.
How to determine the Confluence version
Regards,Kishore.
@Chandrasekhar KC you can tell if you are using Cloud if the url starts with abc123.atlassian.net as all Cloud instances are hosted on atlassian.net
Alternatively, for DC, you can scroll down to the bottom of the page, where the footer should include a number of the version.
For Jira Cloud, you could use the API to check the build version of your instance by using the following REST endpoint:
GET https://<your-domain>.atlassian.net/rest/api/3/serverInfo
I've tried searching a bit, but it seems something like that doesn't exist for Confluence 🫤
