Update: The issue is no more happening. Something changed and fixed.
Following is the issue.
When a Confluence template includes the macro "/variable", the template stops working. The steps to follow:
- Click "Create" and choose "Page".
- When in the edit mode, click on "..." and choose "Templates and import".
- Choose a template that happens to include the macro "/variable".
Expected result: Screen comes up with prompt to add value of the variable. And when "Create" button is pressed, the edit mode populates the page with the template content and is ready for publishing.
Actual result: A screen comes with the template name and "Create" button at the bottom as expected. Clicking on "Create" takes you to the edit mode - but the template text is NOT populated.
