Atlassian Williams Race Mode Pop-up

melanie.boehmer

Is there a way to opt out of such features (especially disabling such pop-ups from appearing) that do not actually contribute to the functionality of the Atlassian Tools? Our CISO commented that the design does not inspire trust and since we use Confluence to heighten our productivity, promoting a game on our work platform is not appreciated.

Hello @melanie_boehmer

As mentioned from https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Confluence-articles/Introducing-Confluence-Race-Mode/ba-p/3145981 , this will only be there for limited time. The design is indeed to be trusted because Williams Racing is part of Atlassian.

Thanks for your reply. I was aware of the partnership, but most of our users are not. This is also a general question whether it is possible to disable such notifications for our users.

Mentioned in here, you would need to contact Atlassian support to turn this off for you. Otherwise, you can't do it by yourself. Good thing is you have premium tier of Confluence so the support is available 24/7.

Thanks, I'll do that then. I already suspected that this would not be something we can do ourselves as I could not find any settings that I could adjust accordingly.
