Edit Mode has all columns crunched. We cannot work with this! The former structure must be kept!

Did you try opening in different browsers (ex: chrome, edge, mozilla etc) Or reducing the zoom size in the browser ?
I request you to create a support ticket with Atlassian directly to check if they can provide you better option.
