I have tried on my iOS devices and seems to be able to access JIRA even with Google apps. Can you try on your mobile safari see if you are able. Perhaps, share me the app that you are using to connect to your on demand instance and shall help you look into that.

Yes the web/html version works but we'd like to use the native iOS iphone app "JIRA Real Life" by Atlassian so our test users can create JIRAs with screenshots etc.
