Can another issue type be added to the Agile Map?

We have an issue type of Req that is between a Epic and a Story for better organization of stories. Can this additional issue type be added to the map - making it 3 levels? The Req is linked to the Epic. The stories are related to the Req.

Not without a significant re-write of JIRA Software. Stories belong to Epics.
