Jira Service Managment - Disable email verification for account creation

Where can we find the option to disable "account verification email"?
This used to be located under Project settings, Customer notifications, Account verification email.

The image shown is based on a JSM project on DC, not on Cloud.

This option is not there on Cloud, also see this feature request and the comments in it, JSDCLOUD-12645
