Good morning, I need to upload PPT files to Confluence Cloud and have them show the preview. I've noticed that after the updates, the macro method I was using is now listed as obsolete. How can I add the file preview now?Thank you.

As far as I know, Confluence Cloud no longer supports native interactive PowerPoint previews like the old Office PowerPoint macro. The current File macro only provides a static scrollable preview, not slide navigation or animations.
Alternatives for interactive PowerPoint viewing:
Both are paid apps (with free trials). If you need a free option, the only built-in choice is the File macro with “Display as: Preview,” but it’s static.

There's no way to embed it like it used to work, but users can still use Preview button when they click on a card or the inline display of the PPT.
There's an open feature request for additional support or at least some alternatives to this requirement: CONFCLOUD-81995: Continue support for the Confluence PowerPoint macro So, I'd suggest leaving a vote and setting yourself as a watcher on the linked suggestion.
As an alternative, you may be able to use this approach by using OneDrive/SharePoint and simply adding those file links to Confluence, which then embeds the document into the body of the content. 👀
